Summer is flying by and we've been enjoying being out in the beautiful Seattle sunshine!!  Renton River Days was very fun and we enjoyed meeting and talking with lots of people about our products.  We enjoyed giving out samples, answering questions and listening to the stories of the people we met.  Skin sensitivity seems to be a very real problem for a lot of people and we have been honored to provide some quality products to address that need.  

The biggest comment was "it smells so good, I just want to eat it."  Thank you for the compliments but please don't eat it.  :>)
The biggest question was "why hemp?"  A lot of folks were surprised to learn that skin is our largest organ and we absorb what we put on our skin, both good and bad.  Think about how a nicotene patch works for folks who are quitting smoking, they are able to absorb enough of that drug to replace what they were getting from the tobacco products.  This should tell you that what you put on your skin is not unlike what you put in your mouth.  We have the opportunity to
"feed" our bodies through our skin every time we step in the shower, wash our hands, moisturize our skin.  HEMP is an excellent choice for nourishment.  Hemp is rich in omega 3's just like salmon.  It's vegan friendly and gluten free and it's truly soap and lotion for your brain.  

  Our soaps, lotions and lip balms and now our shea butter whips are all filled with seriously healthy stuff from nature along with our prayers for your health and happiness.  Read your soap and lotion labels and ask yourself if you are soaking in chemicals like paraben, which has a KNOWN connection to breast cancer.  No one else is going to take control of your health; it's the job and PRIVILEGE of every person to nourish and protect his/her body.  YOU are sacredly made and the things you put on and in your body should be made that way too.
